This incredibly detailed charm honors the Kemp’s Ridley, the smallest sea turtle in the world. I had the rare opportunity to meet one of these critically endangered turtles while on St. George Island several summers ago. A fisherman had unintentionally hooked her, but he did the right thing and turned her over to the state park, where the turtle was rehabilitated and eventually released back into the wild.
10% of sales of each Kemp's Ridley sea turtle charm will be donated to Gulf Specimen Marine lab. Located in nearby Panacea, this organization helps rehabilitate injured sea turtles.
Buy the charm solo to add to your own collection, or pair it with one of my chains or charm bracelets. Charm and chains sold separately.
